Why Anna Ari?
I started Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC in 2009 because, at the time my life was very busy. I had returned to school to finish some prerequisites for graduate school, I had a young child, and I was working full-time. I had an amazing circle of family and friends who were always willing to help me with the things I needed, and I truly appreciated them. But I also knew they had busy lives of their own.
What I really needed was an extra pair of hands.
And as someone who has always been very independent--not bragging, just being honest--I liked the idea of having a company I could hire to assist me. It made it a business transaction rather than a favor. Asking for a favor every now and then is one thing, but I never wanted to constantly rely on my family and friends or feel like I was wearing out my welcome. I knew they would never make me feel that way, but I also understood the importance of being able to take care of my responsibilities independently.
I also believed that, in order for me to reach the level of success The Lord had planned for me, I needed to operate differently. I needed help, but I didn't necessarily need an employee. And that's how Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC came to life.
At the time, the idea of having an actual personal assistant seemed a little out of reach for me. I didn't feel like I was operating at a level where I could afford to hire an employee just to handle the everyday things I needed help with. So I began thinking: What if there was a service that gave everyday people access to personal assistants without having to employ one themselves?
I figured I couldn't be the only person who could benefit from having an on-call personal assistant.
That idea became the foundation for Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC.
My goal has always been to provide people-regardless of their income level-with access to professional, dependable personal assistance when they need an extra pair of hands. Whether, it's picking up a restaurant meal, grabbing groceries, picking up a prescription, handling a dry-cleaning pick-up, or taking care of a custom request, sometimes having someone else handle one task can make a very busy day a little easier.
At first, Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC may seem like an additional expense. But I encourage people to take a look at what they already spend on delivery services and other conveniences. Add up those expenses, along with the frustration that can come from delayed orders, missed deliveries, poor customer service, or feeling like you're just another order number.
Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC was started with a different approach.
Our personal assistants are background-checked, and their primary responsibility is to assist our members-not rush through one delivery so they can get to the next job. That difference matters. It allows our personal assistants to focus on the details that make a service feel personal: respecting your property, following your instructions, placing your food where you ask, being mindful of your surroundings, and treating your belongings with care.
You shouldn't have to wonder who is showing up at your door or feel uncomfortable allowing someone to assist you with your personal requests. We understand that we're being invited into a small part of your personal life, and we don't take that responsibility lightly.
As a Jesus-centered business, we also believe that how we treat people matters. We enjoy sharing God's Love through the way we serve our customers and others. We're not here to judge anyone or make assumptions about their circumstances. We're there to do a job, treat people with respect, provide the service requested, and leave them with a positive experience.
Since starting Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC, I've had several different careers. When business was slow, I had to pursue other career paths while continuing to carry the vision for Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC.
Most recently, I worked as a Corporate Bank Investigator, CFE. Interestingly, I can see how much Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC has influenced the way I approach that work as well. Running a personal assistant business has taught me to think differently - to be organized, pay attention to details, manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and approach each situation with a solution-oriented mindset.
Looking back, I realize that Anna Ari Personal Assistants, LLC wasn't just started because I needed help.
It was started because I believed other people needed help too.
And I wanted to start a service that could provide that help in a way that was personal, professional, dependable, and rooted in genuine care for people.
